Application Steps
Kickstarter Grant – Documentation
With this grant, you'll receive €1,500 to take the first steps toward establishing your team. Visit the Province of North Brabant website for all documentation and regulations. Also, make sure to watch the webinar for a general explanation.
Kickstarter Grant - Preparation
Once you have all the information, you can start writing your grant application. Visit the Province of North Brabant's website for all required documents and templates you need to use. In addition, we have developed an FAQ containing the most frequently asked questions.
Plan an optional meeting with BOOST
If you still have questions after visiting the province's website and reading the FAQ, you can receive personal guidance from BOOST by scheduling a meeting! We will connect you with a BOOST board member to help you as effectively as possible. To prepare, we ask you to create a 2-minute pitch about your application. This will help us address your substantive questions during the session. Meetings last 30 minutes, so make sure you come well prepared for a productive and successful session!
Application Evaluation
Your application will be reviewed by a panel of experts, including industry professionals, student alumni, and other relevant stakeholders. They'll evaluate your project based on several criteria. Depending on their assessment, you'll receive one of two responses: approval (Go), or a rejection (No Go).
Receive Funding
If your application is approved, you'll receive a contract outlining the terms of your grant. Once the paperwork is finalized, it's time to celebrate—your student team is officially funded!
Project Evaluation (Innovation Grants only)
For Innovation Grant recipients, there's a follow-up process to ensure your project is on track. You'll need to report on your project once the project has been concluded. Detailed guidelines for this evaluation process can be found here.
